Tunnel Bluffs hike.
This is a great hike off of the Sea to Sky hwy near Lions Bay on your way to Squamish. There is a small parking lot on the other side of the road where the trail head begins, (GPS: “Tunnel Point parking lot”). Note: if you are coming from Vancouver you will have to drive past the lot and take the Porteau Cove rd exit to loop back, as you are not allowed to turn left into the parking lot. Once you are in the parking lot you then have to run across the highway to get to the trailhead (BE CAREFUL).
Once you begin the trail it is very well marked. Quite steep and rugged with a few view points to check out along the way. After about 1.5 hours of climbing up, the trail levels out for the last 30 minutes to the final viewpoint. It took us 4 hours round trip for the hike. Hang up a hammock if you have one and enjoy the view in comfort like we did when we went!
If you want a shorter hike you can just hike to one of the first couple of view points but I highly recommend you make the climb to the final view point, it is breathtaking!
