It was a crisp but nice sunny fall day. A great day to go explore Norvan Falls!
You can find Norvan Falls at Lynn Headwaters Park in North Vancouver. It is very easy to get get to which is nice.
This hike starts at the main entrance of the park by the BC Mills house.
To get to Norvan falls you start along the left side of the Lynn Loop along the creek. Instead of continuing the Lynn loop when the trail splits you carry on to the Cedar Mills trail (keep left) which eventually comes to a debris chute and then leads into the trail to Norvan Falls. It is very well marked with maps at each trail so it’s pretty hard to get lost.
This route we took was fairly easy. It is mostly level but has the odd hilly parts and areas where you will need to watch your footing.

The trail is 14km round trip and took us almost exactly 4 hours to complete. We stayed at the falls for an extra hour to enjoy it and have lunch.

The fall colours were amazing and I loved hearing the sounds of rushing water from the creeks and the falls. It also smelled so nice and fresh out. Definitely a nice de-stressing hike to take. The trail is dog and kid friendly.
