Great hike today up Mt. Thom, we started from Sylvan Drive up Promontory in Chilliwack. It was quite warm out today but the hike has a lot of shade which is nice for keeping cooler on the hike! Good beginner hike for sure, not too challenging. Some steep areas but lots of levelled out areas as well. The hike starts in a few different areas. You could start it down at Jinkerson road if you’d like a longer hike. Took us about 2 hours round trip at a moderate pace from the Sylvan drive start. The view was pretty amazing especially since there wasn’t a cloud in the sky! We also had a few butterflies flying around us which made it even more beautiful! Lots of different types of flowers along the trail that we wished we knew the names of haha. Definitely check it out if you haven’t! This trail is dog friendly and kid friendly!
